Verle Beckman, 94, passed away on March 30, 2022 at Scenic Manor, Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Dayton Cemetery. Don Clay was born June 18, 1927, in Franklin County, Iowa to Doris (Shroyer) and Lawrence Clay. He passed away at Cedar Ridge Village Care Facility in West Des Moines on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022, just a few months shy of 95. 

Ruth Ann Pendergast-Hansen, age 84, passed away on January 20, 2022, at home in Summerville, SC. Ruth Ann was born in Hampton, Iowa on January 3, 1938, to Elvira and John Clark Patton. She married her first husband Charles V. Pendergast, who joined the Army and then Air Force. They had three children together Arlyn Todd, Belinda Sue and Craig Steven.

Marlo Westaby, 94, of Alexander, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Madrid Home.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at First Reformed Church in Alexander.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30, prior to the service at the church.  Burial will take place in the Alexander Cemetery.  The Counsell Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Marlo and his family.

Leo Bert Renberg, 90, of Sheffield, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2022 at the Sheffield Care Center following a brief illness.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Richland Lutheran Church in Thornton, Iowa.  Visitation is from 9:00-10:30, prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield following the luncheon.

Joyce Boehmler Blum passed away peacefully March 11 at Bickford Senior Living Center in Iowa City, after 95 years in this world. Joyce was an amazing ray of sunshine who touched many lives with her gifts of love and happiness, which she gladly shared with others. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment spreading the “Joy” in Joyce.

Charles E. “Chuck” Akers, 81, of Hampton, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. 
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, with burial in the Hampton Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton. 

Velda Ellen Allen, age 81, of Verona, Missouri, passed away at 3:11 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri. She was born February 28, 1941, in Bell, California, the daughter of William Henry and Vivian Ruby (Vandorn) Roever.

Edward Lynn Bollinger, 89, of Savannah, Missouri, formerly of Alden, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at LaVerna Senior Living in Savannah, Missouri. Funeral services for Lynn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the First Christian Church, 221 Fischer Avenue, Iowa Falls with military honors and burial to follow at the Alden Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Leo Lovick, 96, of Ackley, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 26, 2022 at the St. John’s UCC in Ackley with burial at West Friesland Cemetery. Visitation were one hour before services on Saturday.

Marilyn Ann Green, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Visitation for Marilyn Green was 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2022 at Linn’s Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Burial will be at North Lawn Memory Gardens Iowa Falls directly following visitation.

Berneta Jean Peterson, 90, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at her home. Visitation was held Friday, March 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m., at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Dumont. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hampton. Burial took place in the Dumont Cemetery.

Theresa Marie Koebrick, 61, of Thompson, Iowa died peacefully Monday, March 14, 2022 surrounded by her family.
