LeRoy William Benning, 85, of Ackley, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton.
LeRoy was born on May 16, 1936, in Ackley, to Edward and Christina (Mehmen) Benning.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in rural Geneva, and was very active there the remainder of his life.

Donald Dean Dyer, 84, of Naples Florida passed away on October 29, 2021.

Mark Carl Brown, 69, of Coulter, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston. He was born June 11, 1952, in Hampton, Iowa, to Lowell and Lorna (Honold) Brown. 
Mark graduated from CAL Community High School in 1970 and went on to attend and graduate from Waldorf College in 1972.

Leonard Henry Pralle, 92, of Latimer, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. He was born May 23, 1929, at the Hampton Lutheran Hospital, the son of George and Malinda (Dohrmann) Pralle.

Dale Dixon, 86, of Hampton, passed away October 26, 2021 at his home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Hampton United Methodist Church with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Carolyn Ann Heuberger, 60, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at her home. She was born December 23, 1960, in Hampton, to Marvin and Anna Mae (Jackson) Meyer.  
Carolyn graduated from Sheffield-Chapin High School in 1979. She would go on to earn an Associate’s Degree from NIACC. Carolyn married David Heuberger on June 6, 1981, in Sheffield. To this union, three children were born: Bret, Crystal, and Drew.  

Mary Kenison, age 83, of Iowa Falls, passed away, October 24, 2021, at Eldora Specialty Care in Eldora. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the First Congregational U.C.C. in Iowa Falls with burial in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. 

Dan Dannen, 62, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Rev. Dick Parker, 83, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away October 19, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, Iowa. He was born December 11, 1937, in Veedum, Wisconsin, to Edgar Martin and Grace Mae (Hancock) Parker.

Ramona Rae Neubauer, 83, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Mason City, IA. 
 
A Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City with Chaplain Art Zewart officiating.
 

Frank Oran Benson was born on March 29, 1935 to Harold and Mildred (Kibsgaard) Benson. He graduated from Dumont High School in 1952 and then later was drafted into the United States Army in 1958. Frank was united in marriage to Norma Jean Schrage on March 5, 1960 in the Hansel Methodist Church.

Carolyn Ann Heuberger, 60, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at her home. 

Jay Peter Morgan, 56, of Ames, passed away at his home on Friday, September 24, 2021.  
Jay grew up in Geneva, Iowa. He graduated from Ackley Geneva High School. While living in Geneva, Jay attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton and went with his siblings to Sunday School, which was taught by their mother.  

Glenna Ruth McGinnis, 98, of Boone, passed away at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Glenna was born on July 27, 1923 in Franklin County, Iowa the daughter of George and Mary (Watts) Worden. On August 8, 1942 Glenna married Harold C. McGinnis at the Mineral Methodist Church Parsonage in  Mineral, Illinois.

Sally O’Brien—formerly of Hampton, Des Moines, and Marshalltown—died suddenly after a long illness on October 17, 2021 at Independence Village of Ames.
