Monte D. Burroughs, 69, of Dumont, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the Dumont Wellness Center. At this time no services will be held. The Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home of Dumont handled the arrangements.

Warren Christian Nielsen, 92, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away at home on Sunday evening, April 12, 2020. According to his wishes, Warren’s body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Eventual inurnment will be in Dumont Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Warren’s family for later designation

Marvin Wayne Rodemeyer, 89, of Hampton, went home to celebrate Easter with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 9, 2020. Private family services were held with burial in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Latimer. The Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton assisted Marvin's family.

Gertrude “Abbie” Esther Himan, 92, died Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Israel Family Hospice House. A private graveside service will be held since gathering restrictions in place at this time due to our country’s current pandemic.

Ruby Marian Danielson, 86, of Hampton, Iowa, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery in Dike, Iowa. The Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton is assisting Ruby’s family.

Wayne Ira Bartell, formerly of Columbia Heights, MN, passed away March 23rd in Eau Claire WI at the home of his daughter surrounded by his four children. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Raymond Edward Silver, 80, of Geneva, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at his home in Geneva. Services will be held at a later date.

Dorothy "Dot" Rae (Gamble) Metz, 75, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, Iowa.

Karen Grabbe, 77, of Sheffield, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 12, at West Fork United Methodist Church, rural Sheffield, with Pastor Shannon Chapman presiding. Her family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the church.

Bob died at the age of 95 at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility on Wednesday, March 4th, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, (March 7) at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday also at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton. Burial will take place at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene, Iowa.

Lowell Adrian Sandin, 85, of Hampton passed away peacefully March 1, 2020 at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospital in Mason City. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21st at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Carol Diane Borcherding, 58, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2020, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Latimer. Visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Latimer. Burial took place in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
