Viola Zaabel Receives Image of Pride Award for June 2025

Viola Zaabel was named the recipient of the June 2025 Image of Pride Award during last week’s city council meeting.

Zaabel was selected for the honor by City Councilor Jerre Grefe. Her home is located at 826 1st St NW.

“I have always thought this was a cute little house,” said Grefe. “Recently, many changes have taken place that have made it even cuter. Viola returned to the area after moving away about 40 years ago. She has put her personal touch to this home creating an inviting welcome! Always meticulously maintained no matter the season.”
