Bulldogs Track And Field Teams Compete At North Iowa Indoor Championships

CLEAR LAKE—- Both the boys and girls track teams competed at the North Iowa Indoor Championships at Clear Lake on March 27 and March 28 for Hampton-Dumont-CAL. The girls team took 14th place out of 15 teams with a score of 17.25.  For the girls team, in the 200-meter dash, Drew Horton took 38th place with a time of 32.39 and Abigael Flores took 41st place with a time of 32.98 and Noel Hansen took 47th place with a time of 33.81 and Alisenne Storr took 52nd place with a time 39.00. In the 4x200-meter relay, the Bulldogs took eighth place with a time of 2:01.38. In the 800-meter run, Marlee Maas took 21st place with a time of 3:03.25. In the 1500-meter run, MacKenzy Valley took seventh place with a time of 5:40.04. In the long jump, Addison Aalbers took 14th place with a jump of 13-07.75 and Adelee Gronewold took 16th place with a jump of 13-03.50. In the high-jump, Lily Hambly took 11th place with a jump of 4-08.00. In the shot put, Charlee Morton took first place with a throw of 45-00.00.

 

The boys team took 12th place out of 15 teams with a score of 13 points. In the 200-meter dash, Bayden Wrich took 21st place with a time of 25.11 and Joseph Powers took 35th place with a time of 26.56 and Jory Angstman finished in a tie for 44th palace with a time of 27.81 and Luke Showalter finished in 47th place with a time of 28.11. In the 400-meter dash, Will Warneke took 21st place with a time of 1:04.87 and Ryne Magner took 23rd place with a time of 1:07.61. In the 4x200-meter relay, the Bulldogs took eighth place with a time of 1:40.35. In the 800-meter run, Arnold Guevara took 26th place with a time of 2:29.28 and James Chambers took 32nd place with a time of 2:32.74 and Rem Powers took 38th place with a time of 2:40.38.

 

In the 4x400-meter relay, the team took 10th place with a time of 3:55.56. In the 4x800-meter relay, the team took 16th place with a time of 10:21.33. In the long jump, Carter Arends took 15th place with a time of 18-05.25 and Jory Angstman took 32nd place with a jump of 15-05.50 and Mathew Hartkoop took 34th place with a jump of 15-01.00 and Wyatt Dean took 38th place with a jump of 12-05.50. In the high jump, Bayden Wrich took 16th place with a jump of 5-04.00 and Brody Peters finished in a tie for 25th place with a jump of 5-00.00. In the shot put, Beau Morton took seventh place with a throw of 45-01.25, Brady Harr took 26th place with a throw of 37-09.00, and Emmit Elling took 47th place with a throw of 34-03.00.

Both teams’ next meet is on April 4 at Roland-Story at 4:30 p.m.
