Hampton rallies in support of Spanish interpreter

Hampton's Hispanic community has come out in droves to advocate for someone who has long advocated for them.

For 22 years, Veronica Guerrero has served as an interpreter in Franklin County, helping the area's Spanish speaking residents navigate the largely English-only healthcare system. From arranging doctors appointments to filling out Medicaid paperwork to setting up prescriptions, Guerrero has become a vital resource for many in Hampton's Hispanic community.
