I've been working on my Hon-da motorcycle lately. It's a 200cc dirt bike from 1986. I even have a service manual for it and the project has constant-ly humbled me.

I bought it from my step brother for $400 and it has been a boon for checking cattle and crops. Even though it is a Honda, it hasn't been perfect. It has got to be the most cold-blooded beast I've ever owned. Parts availability is amazing and Jed and the mechanic at Mason City Honda have helped me keep it going.

Tuesday night when I tucked Dawn in for the night my first words were, “I'm sorry.” I was sorry she had to suffer through the least funny come-dy routine ever produced.

We've got a kid (39 years old) living in Los Angeles. He's been laid off since the pandemic, I mean the government shutdown began.

If not for bicycles, he'd be like a fly pestering his son and girlfriend all the time. But he's also doing the human thing, helping a neighbor. A Vietnamese lady has dementia and can use some help, like when she locks herself out of her apartment. She was rescued from the communists in Vietnam and has a son here who is busy driving around in Teslas and Porsches instead of being a good son.
