H-D Middle School group claims top prize in Chamber raffle


A group of Hampton-Dumont Middle School teachers claimed the top prize in the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s $10,000 raffle last Thursday. A group of teachers at Hampton-Dumont Middle School has added reason to celebrate this holiday season.

Ten teachers at the middle school together purchased the winning ticket for the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s annual $10,000 raffle.

Additionally, the Chamber drew for two, $250 Chamber Bucks awards. Winners were Willie and Nancy Knipfl and a group from Franklin General Hospital.

Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Newton Grotzinger said 240 tickets were sold. Each ticket was $100.
