Three members of the West Fork girls basketball team were selected to the Top of Iowa-East All-Conference teams. Senior Brylee Dickman and sophomore Zada Huff were selected to the second team all-conference, while junior Evelyn Hitzhusen was selected to the honorable mentions team.

Brylee Dickman led the Warhawks with 6.5 rebounds per game and 0.7 blocks per game and was second on the team with 10.7 points per game. Dickman also averaged 1.3 steals per game and two assists per game. She shot 35.2 percent from the field, 30 percent from three-point range and 58.3 percent from the free throw line. Warhawks' head coach Rodney Huber discussed Dickman's leadership this season.

"Brylee has been a great leader," Huber said. "She does anything we need her to. She played some point forward for us this year and really expanded her game. She has led our team in charges each of the past two seasons and her toughness will really be missed."

Zada Huff led the Warhawks with 12.9 points per game. Huff was second on the team with 2.6 steals per game , while also averaging 2.1 assist per game, 3.4 rebounds per game and 0.1 blocks per game. She shot 35.9 percent from the field, 29.8 percent from three-point range and 58.3 percent from the free throw line. Coach Huber spoke on how Huff;s hard work has paid off.

"Zada is a tireless worker," he said. "She is always in the gym. She started the year just being a catch and shoot three-point shooter, and when teams started taking that away she found other ways to score. The second part of the season, she really upped her scoring and aggressiveness on defense. She has a really bright future. To be a second teamer as a sophomore is a really impressive accomplishment."

Evelyn Hitzhusen led the Warhawks with 3.5 assists per game and 3.6 steals per game. Hitzhusen was second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game and also recorded 10.1 points per game and 0.3 blocks per game. She shot 34.7 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point range and made all 26 of her free throw attempts. Coach Huber discussed Hitzhusen's impact on the team this season.

"Evie played the point for us this year," he said. "She is a great athlete and learned to take care of the ball and how to get her teammates shots. She was among our leaders in scoring and led our team in assists. Unfortunately, a knee injury derailed her season, but I am excited about her potential next year."

While Dickman has played her last game with the Warhawks, Hitzhusen and Huff will look to take on the leadership role and lead the team next season.
