Pauline Faye Parks

Pauline Faye Parks, 88, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away at Country View Nursing Home in Hampton on March 28, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at a later time with burial at West Fork Cemetery in Sheffield, Iowa. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family.
Pauline was born in 1938 in rural Franklin County, Iowa, to Orla and Bessie Stanbrough. She was united in marriage to Wesley Parks Jr. on January 15, 1955, in Sheffield, Iowa. Together they built a life centered around family, hard work, and community.
Pauline was a devoted member of West Fork United Methodist Church in rural Sheffield. She was active in the church’s women’s group. Pauline also dedicated her time to serving others through the Franklin General Hospital Auxiliary and was an active member of the Hampton Senior Center and previous board member.
Pauline especially enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center and cherished time spent with friends there. Nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by her family. She loved gatherings filled with laughter, games, and card playing, creating many treasured memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always enjoyed her garden and flowers.
Pauline is survived by her children: Debra (Todd) Sabin, Gwana (Dean) Wirtjes, and Wesley Parks III (Kelly).
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Eric (Steph) Arenholz, Kyle (Paola) Arenholz, Jamie (Thomas) Lashier, Nicki (Brett) Johnson, Noah (Lucy) Parks, and Jake (Kyra) Parks, along with 13 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by her sisters-in-law: Carolyn Stanbrough and Marsha Stanbrough.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Parks Jr.; great-granddaughter, Maren Arenholz; great-grandson, Finn Parks; her parents, Orla and Bessie Stanbrough; seven brothers; two sisters; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Pauline will be remembered for her warm spirit, her love of family, her faith, and the joy she found in simple moments spent playing cards, laughing, and being together with those she loved.
