Kay Lynn Paullus (Juhl)

January 22, 1938 — March 10, 2021

Kay Lynn Paullus, 83, formerly of Latimer, IA and Leesburg, FL, passed away peacefully with family present on Wednesday, March 10, 2021,  in Loudon, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne.  They were married for 62 years.  Kay was the last surviving of five siblings - Barbara Juhl Hansen, Helen Juhl Stangl, and Gerald Juhl, and Beth Juhl Wiley.

Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and great aunt.  She was a homemaker and a loving friend to many.  She can be remembered as the “original Martha Stewart” for being so very talented in all her many creative endeavors.

She was an active member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of rural Hampton, IA for many years.

Those who mourn her passing are her daughter, Andrea, and son-in-law, Sam Gregov, of Vonore, TN, and two grandchildren Damon and Natalie - both of Knoxville, TN.

Plans are being made to scatter her ashes this summer on Lake Tellico in Tennessee.
