Obituaries

Norman Edward Holm, 75, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home in Hampton, with his family by his side.  He was born on February 5, 1945, in Hampton, to Norman Thygesen and Shirlee Marie (Watson) Holm.

Norm attended schools in Hampton and graduated from Iowa Falls High School, class of 1963.  He was united in marriage to Eileen Marie White on June 26, 1966, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Coulter.  Together, they made their home and raised their boys in Hampton.

Barbara Frances Brockway (Clemens) passed away from a fall, which led to a cerrebreal hemorrhage, on August 29, 2020, at the age of 87 at her home in Medina Ohio She was born on January 31, 1933 at her Grandmother’s home in Dumont, Iowa, to the late Forrest and Ruth (Hutchinson) Clemens. She lived in Cedar Rapids to age of 12 when she moved to Ohio when her father started to work in Cleveland. She has lived in Columbus, Ohio, Celebration, Florida, and the past 50 years in Medina, Ohio. 

Raymond J. Murray, 78, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021, at his home in Hampton.  He was born on March 14, 1942, in Charles City, Iowa, to John and Mary (Joerger) Murray.

Ray graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Charles City and attended NIACC.  He married the love of his life, Trisha Henke, on September 12, 1964, in Charles City.  They had 4 energetic boys whom Ray loved very deeply.

Salina Enslin, 92, of Ackley, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, rural Geneva. She was laid to rest at the St. Peter’s Cemetery.
