Terry B. “Buck” Heilskov

Terry B. “Buck” Heilskov, 75, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday at his home in Hampton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Hampton United Methodist Church in Hampton.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton.  Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton. Woodley Funeral Home of Hampton is caring for Buck and his family.

Terry “Buck” Heilskov, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on February 22nd, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on January 10, 1951, to Ove and Ingrid (Christensen) Heilskov in Hampton, Iowa.  He grew up on a farm in Hampton and graduated from Hampton Community High School in 1969.

He was united in marriage to Marsha Missildine on September 26, 1970, and to this union three beautiful, talented daughters were born.  Terry was devoted to his family and had a rare gift for making everyone around him feel special. If you spent even a few minutes with him, you walked away feeling seen, valued and probably smiling. He lived life to the fullest, had a fun-loving nature, as well as a sensitive side—especially when it came to the people he loved most.

A loyal farm boy at heart, Terry was a hard worker who took great pride in the business of 38 years that he built through dedication, grit and integrity. He was generous with his time, his talents, and his heart, always willing to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return.

Faithful, loyal, kind and deeply rooted in family, Terry treasured time spent together and held those moments close. His legacy lives on in the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Terry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marsha; daughters, Corey (Greg) Dombrowski, Heather (Aaron) Mara and Holly (Jay) Kitzman; grandchildren: Caitlin (Mario) Pena, Halie (Nolan) Dombrowski, Carter (Mallory) Murphy, Cameron Murphy, Ella Murphy, Aidan Stickler, Sam Kitzman and Ivey Kitzman; sister, Judy (Zane) Juncker; brother, Jim (Bert) Heilskov; sister, Kathy (Dave) Kakacek; brother-in-law, Ron (Patricia) Missildine; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Ove and Ingrid and sisters-in-law, Linda (Marv) Shoemaker and Jane Johnson.
