Not many performing bands can trace their history back to 1975, but Little Band River who played at the Surf on Friday is one of them. The Band, originally from Melbourne Australia have sold an estimated 38 million records and racked up string of mega hits such as ‘Lady’ ‘Reminiscing’ ‘Night Owl’ ‘Cool Change’ ‘Take it Easy on me’ “Help is on it’s Way’ ‘Happy Anniversary' and ‘Lonesome Loser’ to name a few, all of which they played on Friday.
