CLEAR LAKE – A sixth place finish in the discus for Parker Juhl was the top individual place for the Hampton-Dumont boys track and field team at Clear Lake on Thursday, May 4.
H-D was eighth with 17 points in the eight-team field.
Humboldt edged Iowa Falls-Alden by a single point, 152-151, to take the team title and unseat Algona, which was third. The difference was the Wildcats winning the final event by two seconds over IF-A, to out-gain them 10-8 points.
Juhl’s effort of 122 feet, 5 inches was a personal best for the junior.
