AGWSR second at H-D triangular

HAMPTON – Both AGWSR and Hampton-Dumont were missing a few golfers for the opener at Hampton Country Club on Tuesday, April 4, but the Cougars have high expectations after qualifying for the Class 1A state golf meet a year ago.
With four golfers – the minimum for a team score – coach Brad Hames’ team was the team runner-up to an Aplington-Parkersburg team which had both the overall medalist and the medalist runner-up.
The Cougars shot 192 to A-P’s 170. H-D competed with just two varsity golfers, not completing a team score.
