Brandt goes out with big effort

CLARKSVILLE – AGWSR senior Maddie Brandt went all-out in her final game with AGWSR.
The 1,000-plus point and 500-plus career rebound forward for the Cougars had tallied all of her team’s points at half – 11 and went on to score 17 before fouling out in the Class 1A Regional final on Monday, Feb. 20.
She completed a double-double with 10 rebounds, but it came at the hands of a 47-33 loss to the Trojans at Clarksville High School.
It was the third straight year Turkey Valley has ousted the Cougars from the post-season.
