A new real estate development in downtown Hampton took center stage during two community meetings last Thursday at Godfather’s Pizza.

KL Holdings LLC owners Landon Plagge and Kyle Pralle met with local residents and answered questions about their company’s proposed $4 million housing project called “The 101.” The development would be located on an empty lot in downtown Hampton and feature 26 quality apartment units. The project is partially funded by a $3.1 million state grant and is hoped for completion sometime in December 2015.

“It’s a Franklin County project as far as we’re concerned. We want to help the community, as well as doing something for ourselves,” Plagge said. “We think it will be pretty easy to fill those apartments and we think it will be a nice addition for the town.”
