Whitehill takes over as H-D activities director

The hiring is pending Hampton-Dumont school board approval. The Chronicle was notified after the June 13 press run the contract hasn't officially been approved yet.
 
HAMPTON – Kevin Whitehill has officially been hired as Hampton-Dumont’s activities director during the 2018-19 school season.
He replaces Will Azinger, who has accepted a similar position at the Mediapolis High School district.
The past two years, Whitehill was assistant principal at Webster City High School, however, he has previous experience as athletic director at Western Iowa schools, including Griswold, Fremont Mills, as well as coaching at Council Bluffs Lewis Central and Shenandoah High Schools as well as some experience as baseball coach at Iowa Western Community College.
