SHEFFIELD – Other than Class 1A top-ranked Jake Hansen, West Fork’s wrestlers had its best moments from the upper weights in a home triangular on Thursday, Jan. 12.
The Warhawk trio of Collin Meints (195), Jordan Clark (220) and Alex Bender (285) combined to go 5-1 with three falls against Central Springs and Mason City Newman as coach Jared Arbegast’s team fell in both duals, 57-20 and 60-24, respectively.
“They are improving, which is good,” coach Arbegast said. “Keep putting time in the room, hopefully it will pan out toward the end of the season.”
The entire story appears in the Jan. 18 print and online editions of the Hampton Chronicle.
