West Fork takes seesaw battle over H-D

SHEFFIELD – It was only a matter of who led at the last moment.

West Fork took an 8-7 victory over Hampton-Dumont in this non-conference baseball contest that included six lead changes and two ties on Tuesday, June 19.

It is something H-D coach Matt Lokenvitz has seen more than a few times this season, but it was a new one for West Fork coach Lance Thompson and his team.

“Usually one team takes charge (in a game),” Thompson said, “and it was back-and-forth (this time)..."
