West Fork races to quick start to top North Butler

GREENE – Before North Butler could reach the scoreboard, West Fork’s girls basketball team had already staked itself to a 16-0 lead, going on to lead 18-4 at the end of the first quarter.
Granted the Bearcats righted themselves after that, but the damage was done in an eventual 59-47 road win for the Warhawks on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
“That was kind of the game,” West Fork coach Rodney Huber said of the start. “We did a really good job on our motion offense, making the game easy, hitting open people and our high-low really worked for us..."
