West Fork girls take state qualifying meet

CEDAR FALLS – Even when the West Fork girls cross country team didn’t have its best day, it was better than everyone else at the Class 1A state qualifying meet at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls last week.
The third-ranked Warhawks will go along with sisters Talia Rowe and Maya Rowe, who qualified as individuals in 2014.
Maya Rowe, a senior, was 12th, qualified as an individual again.
“It’s really fun,” Maya Rowe said. “I’m really glad that the whole team got to make it..."
