GARNER – West Fork shook off a slow start to pound Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the Cardinals’ home court on Friday night, 78-48.

The Warhawks picked up where they left off from a season ago with four players scoring in double digits, led by Sam Amsbaugh’s 19 points.

Despite early charge calls against West Fork, coach Frank Schnoes’ squad outscored the Cardinals 23-12 in the second quarter to take a 32-19 halftime advantage.
