West Fork boys, girls 7th in TIC

SHEFFIELD – Both West Fork golf teams took seventh in the Top of Iowa Conference meets held at Ridge Stone and Pioneer Town & Country Club for girls and boys, respectively, on Monday, May 8.
Behind the Warhawks’ Grace Shreckengost’s 121, the girls were seventh out of eight teams competing with 508.
Central Springs girls didn’t have a team at the meet at Sheffield.
The boys team was led by a low score of 98 for Ian Latham as the Warhawks tallied 393 as a team.
Mason City Newman won the girls’ portion of the meet with the overall meet medalist, Peyton Olson, 92, and runner-up, Morgan Luecht, 95.
