West Fork 0-3, but much improved at North Butler quad

GREENE – The effort was definitely there.

Even though the West Fork wrestlers didn’t have a win to show for it, the Warhawks’ effort compared to the last time they wrestled at North Butler was leaps and bounds improved on Thursday, Jan. 15.

After dropping a 70-8 match against the host school, coach Jared Arbegast’s team competed against Mason City Newman, 52-23, and had a close dual against Riceville, 36-31.

“There was a lot better effort,” coach Arbegast said....
