Warhawks withstand Rockford rally

SHEFFIELD – West Fork’s softball team built a 5-0 lead against Rockford only to see the Warriors rally for four runs in the seventh before closing the door in a 5-4 win on Wednesday, June 14.
Kaitlyn Liekweg and Maddison Shupe each collected a pair of hits and scored a run in the win.
The Warhawks improved to 7-5 overall, 6-3 in the Top of Iowa Conference after the victory.
