Warhawks win seventh straight, need more help

SHEFFIELD – West Fork held up its end by winning the seventh straight game, the latest a big 60-55 victory over Top of Iowa East Conference league-leader Osage.
But the Warhawks were also hoping for some help, although they didn’t get it from St. Ansgar, also on Saturday, Jan. 27, as the Saints fell at Rockford.
It didn’t stop the celebration, however, of putting four of West Fork’s five starters in double figures to hold off the Green Devils.
 “(We) had a good balance, four starters in double figures, nice to have some balance so you can’t shut one player down and say, ‘well, Zach doesn’t score 20, they don’t win,’” West Fork coach Frank Schnoes said...
