PARKERSBURG – West Fork had a strong start and pushed through early adversity to challenge Aplington-Parkersburg on Tuesday night.
Unfortunately, the Warhawks couldn’t match A-P’s attack speed and the Falcons went on to a straight-set sweep in a Class 2A opening-round regional game.
A-P (9-19) won 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.
“We came out really strong, but our passing failed us and then we weren’t moving our feet, we’d get down on each other,” West Fork coach Abbee Dickman said. “It was just one thing after another.”
