SHEFFIELD – West Fork’s baseball team spotted North Iowa runs in the first three innings before scoring seven unanswered in a 7-2 cross-divisional Top of Iowa Conference game on Monday, June 4.
Bison lead-off batter and pitcher Isaiah Walk was responsible for both runs, but other than that Warhawk pitcher Kellen Cameron kept the visitor’s bats at bay.
Walk was 2-for-4 while also reaching on an error in the fifth, but he was left in scoring position after leading off the inning with a pair of strikeouts by Cameron.
