DIKE – Despite trailing by three points at halftime, West Fork picked up its 11th straight win on the strength of a 25-point performance from star senior Sam Amsbaugh, defeating Hampton-Dumont 64-52 in a district playoff match-up at Dike on Saturday afternoon.

Guard Charlie Flickinger and the Bulldogs came out firing early as H-D led by as many as nine points during the first quarter.

The Warhawks responded with an 8-0 run that gave them a 21-20 lead in the second frame, but Flickinger later buried a 3-pointer that put the Bulldogs back ahead 27-24. H-D carried a 32-29 lead into the break.
