Warhawks drop season finale

SHEFFIELD – Grundy Center came to Sheffield and handed the West Fork football team a 40-6 loss on Friday, Oct. 20 to cap the season for the Warhawks.
Avoiding the shutout in the first half, junior quarterback Lukas Wogen found freshman receiver Kellen Cameron for a 26-yard touchdown with 8 minutes, 24 seconds left until half.
Wogen was 9-of-19 passing for 167 yards and the touchdown with no interceptions.
The Warhawks combined for 276 yards of offense, but were unable to find the end zone more than once.
