The West Fork football team overcame adversity and abnormally warm temperatures to down Lake Mills on Friday evening, 20-18.

The Warhawks, now 1-0 on the year, fought off the Bulldogs thanks to a valiant effort by senior quarterback Spencer Halloran.

The do-it-all signalcaller racked up 160 yards rushing and threw for another 147 to a host of receivers en route to the win, breaking the 5,000 multi-purpose yard mark for his career in the game.
