Two Bulldogs advance to district meet

NEW HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s Abe Scheideman and Dalton Chipp will represent the Bulldogs at the Class 2A district wrestling meet this Saturday in Parkersburg.
The two earned the top two spots at the Saturday, Feb. 3 Class 2A sectional meet held in New Hampton.
Chipp, wrestling at 195 pounds, was the lone sectional champion for coach Nick Bretz’s team, needing only to wrestle in the championship match, where he defeated New Hampton/Turkey Valley’s Max Schwickerath by 3-0 decision.
