Tree enthusiasts have planting days in Hampton

Volunteers working with Franklin County Conservation and the Hampton Tree Board have taken advantage of the spring weather to plant trees around Hampton.
On Wednesday, April 19, the tree board planted more than a dozen trees around the perimeter of Hampton-Dumont Middle School. Then on Saturday, the board joined with Franklin County Conservation for a day of planting, putting Swamp White Oak, Redmond Linden, Hackberry, and Sugar Maples down in Hampton's Memorial Park and East Park, around the water works, and along the bike trail.
