Three from area earn Class 2A District 2 first team football honors

HAMPTON – Two defensive players from Hampton-Dumont and C-G-D/CAL quarterback Kainan Braun were among those voted to the 2016 Class 2A District 2 first team, announced recently.
H-D senior linebacker Johnny Guerrero and junior defensive back Hunter Sutter were the Bulldogs’ first team selections.
Braun was fourth in passing among the district quarterbacks with 973 yards and was a dual threat at running the ball, also finishing with 978 yards on the ground, which was also good for fourth in 2A District 2.
