Tenacious West Hancock turns over W. Fork girls

BRITT – A 15-3 West Hancock team turned the West Fork girls’ basketball squad over way too many times for the Warhawks to be competitive in an eventual 70-37 defeat on Saturday, Jan. 30 in a cross-divisional Top of Iowa Conference game.
The Eagles, once ranked in Class 1A, aggressively pressed and went for steals in taking 10-point lead in the first quarter and not letting up an inch.
“We had a lot of unforced errors,” West Fork coach Rodney Huber said. “That’s the part that is frustrating...."
