The annual Taste of Franklin County, Chamber Appreciation Night, will be held this year on Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 5 p.m., and will feature a different ambience, moving to the Franklin County Convention Center.
Chamber Director Newton Grotzinger said that the organization decided to try a different setup this year, leaving the Hampton Country Club for the larger space at the convention center.
Grotzinger said that by holding it at the convention center, there was the opportunity to increase the amount of tickets to a total of 200.
This year’s chamber appreciation will feature 10 chamber-member, local restaurants serving a combination of appetizers and samples of entrees and desserts. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and beginning at 5:30 p.m., patrons can mingle while trying food, as well as enjoying beverages from a cash bar.
