Sutter medals in Class 2A 100

DES MOINES – As long as Hunter Sutter can remember people have been calling him ‘Riggins’ after the fast football-playing character on the TV show Friday Night Lights.
He’s lived up to that reputation after he earned a fifth place medal in the Class 2A 100-meter dash on Saturday afternoon at the state track and field meet.
“That’s from a while back,” Sutter said of his nickname. “I’m not sure how it all started, but Gabby Clark, while I was in baseball, and I had this long, luscious hair or something. I’m not sure, it’s cool. That’s where it came from.”
Saturday’s final wasn’t Sutter’s fastest of the weekend, but he along with everyone else was running into a headwind...
