Supervisors approve election results with help of Plagge’s hat

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors met on Nov. 12, one week after the election, and finalized much of the vote for eight county communities – including drawing a name from a hat to determine the final city council seat in Hansell.
Two candidates were tied for the fifth and final city council seat in the small town east of Hampton: Deloris Cunningham and Jason Harper - both with 17 votes.
