Snowball effect: Two-out error turns against CAL softball team

LATIMER – Everything was going the CAL softball team’s way. Senior catcher Dianna Porzio had hit her first home run, a bomb to left that had given the Cadets a 2-1 lead and an RBI single by fellow senior Emily Quinones made it 3-1 in the third and the home team was cruising against Colo-Nesco, the team’s first round regional opponent.
But a two-out error in the fourth inning changed everything on a dime.
