Second-half surge for Lions’ senior downs Hampton-Dumont

HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont’s boys basketball team only trailed 21-20 at the half against Clear Lake, giving hope to the Bulldogs on Friday, Dec. 5.

And H-D had to feel good knowing that it had held Brock Adams scoreless in the first 16 minutes.

But in the span of three minutes to start the third quarter, Adams turned the game around, scoring 15 points on four three-pointers and an old-fashioned three-point play to give the Lions a 15-point lead.

“He’s a player,” H-D head coach Heath Walton said of Adams.....
