Second annual Farm Crawl sees good turn out

Beautiful weather led to a great turnout for the 2014 Franklin County Fresh on the Farm tour Sunday afternoon.

The event, also known as the “Farm Crawl,” featured locally- grown products at three Franklin County farms.  Guests were free to come and go as they pleased and had the chance to sample fresh vegetables, fruit and other local goods from Franklin County producers.

The Farm Crawl’s route included stops at Enchanted Acres west of Shefeld, the Carlson Tree Farm east of Coulter and Koenigs’ Acres south of Hampton. Temperatures in the mid-70s provided ideal conditions for event-goers as they rambled across the countryside to each location.
