Second annual comedy night raises over $1,000 fo FC Relay for Life

     It was a packed house at the Rustic Brew, Hampton, for Franklin County Relay for Life Team First Bank Hampton’s second annual comedy night fundraiser. In a night full of local comedy acts and one-liners, the team was able to raise $1,144, raising its total donation amount to approximately $7,200, of a goal of $8,000.
     Donations were free will, with patrons paying for food and drink. Last year’s donation amount was just under $1,000.
     “You might ask why we have this event,” said CEO and President of First Bank Hampton, “well, because it matters; we all make a difference.”
     Team First Bank Hampton will be holding another fundraiser, Walking Tacos at the bank, this Friday, May 5. Franklin County Relay for Life will be held in Sheffield this year, on July 29.
