Runs to begin sets key in CAL loss to Mason City Newman

LATIMER – It was no coincidence that the start to each set resulted in a win for the other team in a non-conference volleyball match between CAL and Mason City Newman on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The Knights, in two of the three sets they won, they got out to a big lead against the Cadets. In CAL’s long set victory, it was the Cadets’ turn to start on fire in the 3-1 loss to end the home season at 22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 20-25.
