A night of laughter and nostalgia will greet visitors at the Windsor Theatre next weekend when “An Evening Like It Used To Be” hits the stage for the fourth-straight year.

The annual event is presented by the Franklin County Arts Council (FCAC) and will feature a full slate of performances reminiscent of entertainment from the 1910s and 1920s. FCAC Board Member Leon Kuehner said this year’s show has a bigger lineup of skits and acts in addition to staples like the ventriloquist and silent movie.

“Each year we try to make it bigger and better,” he said. “It’s going to be fun. What we’re trying to do is recreate the kind of popular entertainment that was going on at the Windsor back then.”
