Michael Lynn Rodemeyer Sr., 71, of Hampton, has been charged with criminal contempt after violating a no-contact order filed by his wife Suzann.
According to Hampton Police Department documents, on June 8, Rodemeyer contacted his wife via Judicial Mental Health Advocate Mary Swartz, by phone, to discuss three topics: asking if she would ever contact Rodemeyer again, asking to have an ATM card valued at $150.00 made available to him and to tell her he loved her.
Before this incident, Rodemeyer violated the order two times: making calls from Hardin County Jail on May 6 and on May 20. The no-contact order was initiated on April 20.
