Prantner reaches 1,000-point plateau

SHEFFIELD – With a three-pointer early in the second half of the Class 3A No. 7 Hampton-Dumont girls' basketball team's game, senior guard Jordan Prantner became the second Bulldog to reach the 1000-point career scoring mark on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Prantner became the ninth H-D player to reach the mark in 5-on-5 history, following teammate Jessica Speake who achieved it only 15 days before.
“Reaching this milestone shows that all the hard work is worth it,” Prantner said on Monday. “I had never set a goal to reach 1,000 points, but because of the work that I have put in and the teammates..."
