Pocahontas doubles up on West Fork

SHEFFIELD – Jarel Arbegast completed more than half of his passes for more than 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but West Fork couldn’t stop visiting Pocahontas (6-1) on Friday, Oct. 9 at home in a 42-21 loss.
It was by far the best throwing performance of the season for Arbegast, who didn’t throw an interception for the second straight week.
He completed 7-of-13 passes for 115 yards, getting scoring strikes of 27 to Christian Ames and 14 to Cole Hall as the Warhawks fell to 1-6 overall, 1-4 in Class 1A District 3 play.
