HAMPTON – It wasn’t just one player that helped Hampton-Dumont’s boys’ basketball end their five-game skid.
Coach Heath Walton’s entire team came on and contributed in some way to combine for a 65-37 thrashing of North Central Conference foe Clarion-Goldfield on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
By halftime, the Bulldogs’ leading scorer Parker Claypool had 10 points and finished with 14 in little action in the second half. Coleton Barz came off of the bench to add 12 points, a team-high six rebounds and three assists while adding a block for H-D, which improved to 8-8 overall, 5-6 in the NCC.
